In the downs of the summer days, illuminated by the first sun rays, while the city still sleeps, the Czar's towers rise over Strumica as a lignthouse over the fertile Strumica field. Today, at the back of their mind, the people from Strumica carry the memory of the glorious victories made in the days when the strong unassailable fortresses of the Czar's Towers decided about the destiny of the city.

At altitude above sea-level of 630 meters, at the river Baba, above Kolesino in the one of the most picturesqueness parts of forest, mysterious and water full Belasica, is revealing kolesino waterfall. Hidden between rocks and maples, offers new challenge and meeting with the nature witch has to be feel. Kolesino waterfall is a connection from several waterfalls and it is dominating the main waterfall with above 20 meters. Kolesino waterfall is pronounced for monument of nature.

At the treble border between Macedonia, Bulgaria and Greece, in the bosom of the mountain Belasica, at altitude above sea-level of 650 meters is situated one of the bigest natural beauty of Macedonia - Smolare waterfall.

Waters fall from height of 35 meters and make an unrepeateble view and pleasantness feeling. There is made a path from 400 meters with secured approach for real feeling.

The monastery church "St. Leontij" in Vodoca, most probably dating from Czars Samuel's period, was the seat of the Strumica Bishopric. Thare are indicators that lead us to belive that in the monastery, about 1000 years ago copying of the religious books was made from Greek into the Old Slav language. Bearing in mind the fact that the fresco painting in "St. Leontij" ate quite identical with the ones in the Ohrid church "St. Sofia" and the church "St. Vraci" in Kastoria, Aegean Macedonia, the age of the Vodoca church may be approximately determined: the end of the tenth and begining of the eleventh century, and even earlier.

The monastery church in Veljusa "holy Mother Eleusa" (Gracious), was build in 1080 bay the Strumica bishop Manuil. By the end of the eleventh century , i.e. somewhere about 1093, a part of its rich fresco painting was completed. In fact, the oldest frescoes dating from the eleventh century are most preserved and are located on the southern wall, while the remains of the fresco painthings on the western and northern wall of the southern aisle and in the narthex, mainly date from the second half of the twelfth century. The church is extremely small by size and practically square shaped, its basis being in the form of a four-leaf clover. Nevertheless, as a whole, it is of remarkable value and, we could even say, a luxurious high style artistic structure
